At Insight Bookkeeping & Payroll we use Hubdoc to make document collection easier for everyone involved. With Hubdoc you can easily capture your bills and receipts by uploading them via your mobile, email or a scanner. We’ll then jump into Hubdoc to review the documents, extract the key information and publish the document and data to Xero as a bill. This gives us more accurate and up to date view on your financials as well as keeping the documents safe and easily accessible for auditing purposes.
Once we have setup Hubdoc for your business, we’ll send you some instructions on how to use it. You can login to your Hubdoc file from the Hubdoc website, mobile app or straight from your Xero file (from the drop down organisation menu). When logging into Hubdoc, we recommend using your existing Xero login so you don’t need to manage a separate password. To do this, just click on the top button Sign In With Xero.

Add your unique Hubdoc email address as a contact in your emails so you can easily forward bills to Hubdoc from your inbox
Setup a forwarding rule in your email account to forward any recurring bills straight to Hubdoc
Request that your suppliers cc your unique Hubdoc email when emailing you copies of bills / statements to pay
